DR. KATHLEEN GILMORE, dmd
Dr. Gilmore was born in Newark, NJ. She entered into dentistry over 30 years ago as a dental assistant while a junior in High School. At that time she developed a desire to help and educate people on the importance of their oral health.​
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Rutgers University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UMDNJ. She fulfilled a year long dental internship at Morristown Memorial Hospital, receiving a residency diploma from Columbia University.

Dr. Gilmore has dedicated her career to providing exceptional dental care, and her journey reflects her passion for both dentistry and community. In 2004, she realized her dream by opening a state-of-the-art dental office in Newark, meticulously designed from the ground up.
Eight years later, in 2012, Dr. Gilmore embarked on a new project in Bloomfield, where she renovated this charming 1885 home/office, blending history with modern dentistry. Since November 2014, she has been providing first-class care at this unique location, and she looks forward to welcoming both new and returning patients to be a part of this exciting chapter.

She has been blessed to reach out to those in need by performing charity dental treatment in both the US and abroad, from the jungle of Peru to the city of Curitiba in Brazil.
Dr. Gilmore is an exercise enthusiast enjoying running, biking, hiking and yoga. Cooking is a passion she takes joy in sharing with her family and friends. As a mother of 2 and a new grandmother, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and granddaughter.
